To correct errors found in previous versions of operating systems, RIM today (01/11/12) announced that it has launched its latest operating system, the smartphone operating system 7.1, RIM announcement was made at the Consumer Electronic Show(CES) in Las Vegas.
"With BlackBery Playbook 2.0, we are building a strong foundation. Like reinforce strengths in communication, social integration and productivity, which allow people to use them in new ways Playbook all day, "said the BlackBerry CEO, Mike Lazaridis, as quoted from the pages of the Telegraph.

Like Microsoft Windows Phone, RIM will integrate social networking calendar and contacts. RIM also will make BlackBerry handsets can act like a remote control for streaming movies from the Playbook to the TV, or as a keyboard Playbook.
The new Operating System, continued RIM, also can update the features of companies and offices, as well as improve App World, U.S. Video Store, and introduced a new reading of the web browsing model that shows only the text on web pages.

BlackBerry OS 7.1 will add a share applications via NFC, as well as the ability to install mobile into a portable wifi hotspot.
